  • Always clean the scanner glass before beginning – preferably using a glass cleaner and a dry cloth. Periodically check for dust and fingerprints while scanning.
  • Photos can be saved in JPG or TIFF format. Make sure you use the highest quality JPG for saving.
  • The scanning resolution must be set at a minimum of 400dpi.
  • If possible, your scanner’s automatic exposure setting should be turned OFF.
  • Please be consistent when you place your pictures into the scanner to make sure that all the pictures are oriented in the same way. (When some pictures are upside down or turned on their side, it slows down the process).
  • When complete, you can burn your photos onto a CD or DVD to ship to us, or send them to us here.

Scanning can be time consuming and if done incorrectly will have to be redone. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will be happy to speak with you.
